Start using TACO
TACO markets start from the same basic flow: connect a wallet, choose a supported network, get or deposit collateral, then pick the market type you want to use.1. Connect your wallet
Use the wallet button in the app to connect and switch to the network where the market is deployed. Local and testnet environments may show a mint action for test collateral.2. Choose a market type
- Use Events when you want exposure to a real-world outcome, such as YES or NO on a question.
- Use Price when you want long or short exposure to an oracle-priced market with leverage.
3. Approve collateral
Most actions require an ERC-20 approval before the first trade, liquidity deposit, or bond payment. Check the token, amount, and chain before you sign.4. Trade or provide liquidity
- For event markets, buy or sell YES/NO shares and watch the resolution status.
- For price markets, open a long or short position, then monitor P&L, health ratio, and liquidation risk.
- For liquidity, choose the market type and understand how your capital earns fees and absorbs risk.
5. Track your positions
Use Portfolio to see active event positions, price positions, and LP exposure. Some historical or demo areas may depend on indexers or test data, so always confirm the connected network and market state. What to read next
- Trade events explains YES/NO markets and resolution.
- Trade price markets explains long/short markets and liquidation.
